3D Geometric Fibre Wall Art – Cotton Rope & Wood Blocks

A handmade three-dimensional wall art piece, 80×60cm, constructed from multiple small wooden blocks, each individually wrapped by hand in cotton rope. The blocks are assembled into a geometric layered composition — a diamond chevron structure in which each block overlaps the next at a diagonal angle, building depth and shadow across the overall form.

The cotton rope wrapping creates fine parallel lines across each block face. The colour palette is strictly black and cream — alternating blocks carry different rope colours, creating a high-contrast geometric pattern across the assembled composition.

The layered arrangement means the piece projects from the wall surface, with each block casting shadow on those beneath it. The visual effect shifts depending on light direction.
