Ocean Wave Canvas Painting – Oil & Acrylic Palette Knife

A handmade textured wall painting, 76×101cm, on stretched canvas. The composition depicts an aerial view of ocean waves meeting a sandy shore, constructed entirely through physical texture and hand-applied paint rather than brushwork or print.

The sandy lower-left section is built on a fine stone powder compound base, applied to create a genuine granular texture that replicates the appearance and surface depth of sand. Oil paint in warm golden yellow is applied over this base by palette knife.

The deep teal ocean section is painted in oil using palette knife strokes, building directional texture across the water field. The wave foam lines are formed from raised acrylic texture paste, applied thickly by palette knife to create visible, three-dimensional ridges standing proud of the canvas surface.

The piece combines two paint mediums — oil and acrylic paste — applied in separate sections, not mixed together.
