3D Textured Canvas Wall Art – Black & White Organic Relief

A handmade textured wall artwork, 40×50cm, on a stretched canvas base. The canvas ground is painted in deep matte black. A single abstract organic form occupies the centre of the composition, built entirely from texture compound paste applied and layered by hand to create a dramatically raised, three-dimensional relief.

The form has no geometric structure — it is entirely organic, with irregular ridges, peaks, and recesses that catch and hold shadow differently depending on light direction. The raised compound is finished in white acrylic paint, creating a stark monochromatic contrast against the black ground.

The piece changes in appearance as light shifts across the surface — in direct light the white form reads boldly; in softer or angled light the shadows within the relief become the dominant visual element.
